A few street pics with the Olympus OM-D E-M1 and the Voigtlander 42.5mm lens

A portrait with the Voigtlander 42.5mm lens

Given that the Olympus OM-D E-M1 now has focus peaking it would be safe to assume it would be a great match for the range of high quality manual voigtlander lenses.  Given a hectic workload at present, I haven't had much time to play with either the E-M1 or the Voigtlander 42.5mm lens, so it was time to take an hour out of my day to play a little.  First impressions of the focus peaking are quite good (but not perfect) however, on the street zone focusing still works a treat with these manual lenses.  It might just be an old habit and the few times I did use the focus peaking my images just were not as sharp as I had expected, but then I need to spend more tim with this feature and ensure that it is working the way I want it to work.  I have been using this lens mainly on the Black Magic Cinema Pocket Camera where it really shines.  Now my preference is definitely for wider focal lengths when I am on the street but sometimes when you limit yourself to just one body camera and one lens you always find a way to make do.  The following photos are from my very first test run with this combination/setup so please do not be too critical.  The quality of the photos has been reduced by 50% though I am sure if you really want to see full resolution photos you can contact me directly.
